City of Woodstock Enhances Employee Communications with Audience™

The City of Woodstock, Ontario, has enhanced its internal communications with Audience™ digital signage, joining a growing number of Canadian municipalities leveraging the platform to streamline staff messaging.

Seeking to improve the delivery of mandates, announcements, events, and morale-boosting content, the city aimed to introduce a Digital Communication Board in the common area of the Public Works Department. Based on a recommendation from an industry colleague, Woodstock connected with Capital Networks Limited, recognized for its expertise in seamless integration and exceptional technical support.

Audience™ quickly demonstrated its scalability and flexibility by integrating with the city’s Work Order Management System—MESH—automating real-time updates, including Out of Service vehicle notifications. This ensures staff receive timely, accurate information while improving workflow efficiency.

In addition to operational updates, the displays feature live news headlines from local radio station 104.7 Heart FM’s RSS feed, and daily well-being messages from Action for Happiness, further enhancing the workplace environment.

As part of the deployment, Capital Networks provided:

  • Strategic consultation
  • Initial design and template creation
  • Remote technical launch support and player configuration
  • Remote training for both technical and operational teams
