The Town of Orangeville, nestled in south-central Ontario, has recently rolled out Audience™ to manage digital signage across their recreational facilities. This project underscored just how crucial flexibility is when municipalities choose a digital signage content management system (CMS).
Orangeville wanted to simplify the visitor experience by displaying current facility event schedules (like those for arenas and meeting rooms), venue information, and corporate messaging on screens throughout their recreation centers. With screens already in place and a preference for using their own media players, finding a CMS that could seamlessly integrate with their current equipment was essential.
That’s where Audience™ came in. By opting for a Hosted (SaaS) digital signage solution, with Capital Networks handling the backend infrastructure, Orangeville found a cost-effective way to deploy digital signage using the equipment their IT team preferred.
After a thorough compatibility check, Audience™—paired with our browser-based facility scheduling app, Audience.scheduler—checked every box for Orangeville. We were thrilled to be chosen for the job, and the Town is now managing ten digital signage displays across their venues with ease.
Capital Networks also provided:
- Consultation
- Initial design and template creation
- Remote technical launch support
- Remote training (both technical and operational)
